NihontoWatchMukansa Tosyo Hisyu Yatsushiro ju Minamoto Moriyoshi saku with Shirosaya. 熊本県無形文化財保持者、無鑑査刀匠、肥後熊本の名工、源盛吉刀匠の寸延び短刀 豪壮な姿に相州伝を焼いた優品です。 He was important Intangible Cultural Property of Kumamoto prefecture. This wakizashi is an excellent work of art with the Soshu-den style burned into its grand appearance. 「体配 style」 平造り庵棟、身幅広く重尋常、反り僅かふくら程良く枯れる。茎は生で鑢目は筋違い、茎尻は栗尻。 「地鉄 jigane」 地鉄は板目肌が流れ心と成り、地沸付く。 「刃紋 hamon」 刃紋は互の目乱れ、刃緑砂流し栄んにかかり、刃中は金筋が栄んに入る。釯子は乱れ込み小丸に返る。 「特徴 detailed」 源盛吉は本名 谷川松吉、大正九年生まれ、熊本県八代市で鍛刀していました。盛吉は昭和九年金剛兵衛盛高靖博師に入門、後に延寿太郎宣繁に学ぶ。 銘は金剛兵衛一門の「盛」の字を冠詞し「盛吉」と名乗るが、延寿宣繁師の弟子でもあることから、昭和十六年、盛吉とは別に「延寿宣次」も名乗る。 昭和五十二年に講和記念刀を制作。昭和二十九年の第一回作刀技術発表会から連続出品し、数々の賞を受賞し、昭和60年に無鑑査刀匠となります。源清麿写では名声を高め、迫力のある相州伝の傑作、数々の名作を残し、平成2年に惜しくも七十歳で没しています。 本作、身幅の広い寸延短刀姿に相州伝を焼いた豪壮な刀です。付属する拵は新たに製作した物で、高価な献上鍔が付いています。盛吉刀匠の逸品を是非コレクションに加えて下さい。 「拵 Koshirae」 ハバキ(habaki) :銀無垢二重。 鞘(saya):白鞘 「刀剣の状態 condition of blade」 研:良好です。 傷:欠点に成るような傷は有りません。
