Tachi for Sale
The tachi is the predecessor to the katana, a long sword worn suspended edge-down from the belt — unlike the katana which is thrust through the obi edge-up. Tachi were the dominant sword form from the Heian through early Muromachi periods and were often the work of the most celebrated ancient smiths. They are among the rarest and most valuable nihonto.
