This is a modern sword by Chikushū-jū Muneshige of the Mune school, known for his exceptional cutting ability. The blade is in excellent condition, featuring a tightly forged itame-hada and a powerful ō-gunome hamon. It comes with a high-quality koshirae adorned with a dragon motif and a beautiful kai-chirashi lacquer saya, making it suitable for both appreciation and immediate use in iaidō or tameshigiri.
