Description

This tachi is a work by Kunitsugu of Bitchu Province from the early Muromachi period, and was formerly owned by the Ozeki family of Kurobane Domain. It comes with a magnificent gold nashiji tachi koshirae featuring a holly and omodaka mon (family crest) makie saya, which is also certified as Tokubetsu Hozon Tosogu. Items from the Ozeki family are extremely rare, making this a historically valuable piece.
