NihontoWatchNihontoWatchおおよそ 物を作る ことに、これほどまでの才を持つ御仁を知らず。 藤安将平（まひさら）。 福島 立子山に 鍛錬場を構える 刀匠です。 この 平白鞘小刀 は、小刀、平白鞘、唐木柄 その全てを、藤安刀匠が 御一人で工作されたものです。 某書家に 「筆でもこれ程の文字は、ない」と言わしめた刀身の草書体は、刀匠が銘切り鏨（たがね）で、まるで 筆を使うが如く、下書きもせず 一気に切ります。 柄木は唐木の木っ端にて、総天然色。 磨き込むと 地景の如く、肌が浮き立ちます。 なでらかな弧を描く平地に、鯉口と尻に 異なった唐木を填め、中の茎は 決してがたしません。 鞘は 朴（ホウ）の木にて細工し、裏面に 刀匠直筆箱書きが有ります。 将平刀匠にとって 物を作る とは、この上ない喜びであり、その全てが 御刀に集約されるのです。 この小刀から 刀匠の御刀を想像するは、さも有りなん。 刀匠 藤安将平、天才は 確かに存在します。
