This is a Ken (straight sword) made by Masahira (Fujiyasu Masahiro), a student of Miyairi Akihira, crafted in 1989 (Heisei 1). It features a kiriba-zukuri construction with a well-forged jitetsu and a bright, clear suguha hamon. The sword comes with a modern sanko-zuka koshirae and a custom paulownia box with the smith's handwritten inscription.
