This katana is signed Enshin, born in 1845, placing it in the Shin-Shinto period. The blade features a tight ko-mokume hada and a suguha hamon with gentle notare. It has a chu-kissaki and a shortened nakago (sue-giri). The sword comes with an NBTHK Hozon certificate.
