This modern wakizashi was signed by Enshu Jyu Mitsuhiro in Shizuoka prefecture in 1985. Mitsuhiro, born in 1915, was an apprentice of Miyaguchi Ikkansai Tsunetoshi and was known for forging blades in the Soshu tradition. The blade comes with a shirasaya case and is accompanied by a traditional sword carrying case and maintenance kit.

Without one, the attribution is the seller’s own assessment and has not been independently verified — treat it with caution and ask the dealer about certification before buying.
