Description

This antique Katana is signed by Chikuzen Jyu Minamoto Nobukuni Yoshimasa, forged in the second year of the Jokyo era (1685). It comes with a Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate from the NBTHK for both the blade and its Koshirae. The sword features a detailed Koshirae with a begonia grandis pattern Fuchi-Kashira and a small boat-designed Menuki, symbolizing a wish for a safe journey.
