Description

This fuchi-kashira features a dynamic dragon and cloud design, signed by Jyochiku, a master craftsman who inherited the techniques of the first generation. Made in the late Edo period in Musashi province, it showcases intricate flat inlay work on a shibuichi ground. Gold, silver, shakudo, and suaka are used for varied line inlays, with fine nashiji inlay adding depth to the clouds.
