This is a katana by Kanenari, a leading modern swordsmith from Mino-Seki and a designated Important Intangible Cultural Property holder of Gifu Prefecture. Forged in Showa 62 (1987), it features a robust construction with a nagasa of 71.6cm and a powerful hamon. The blade comes with a complete koshirae, making it suitable for both appreciation and practical use in iaido or tameshigiri.
