This is an iron sukashi tsuba featuring a design of three parasols. It measures 7.2 x 7.5 x 0.45 cm and is made of fine, dense iron with subtle tekkotsu on the rim. The tsuba comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicho paper from 1972, attributing it to the Yagyu school, known for combining warrior ethics with great art.
