This is a complete katana koshirae (mounting) without a blade, measuring 91 cm overall. It features an iron tsuba with sukashi of an umbrella and snowflakes, copper fuchi, and horn kashira. The shakudo menuki depict millet stalks with gold inlay and tiny dragonflies, while the black lacquer saya has horn ko jiri, kurikata, and koi guchi, complemented by a gold-colored sageo. The koshirae is in excellent condition with no lacquer damage and intact tsuka-ito.
