Description

A tsuba made by Sadanaga of Kishu. The tsuba has a thick rim with a rope pattern and is fitted with brass covers over the handguard holes. The black cranes made of shakudo add elegance to the sturdy construction. It is a masterpiece featured in 'Kishu no Tosogu' published by the Wakayama branch of the Japan Art Sword Preservation Society.
