This is a tachi by Morihiro from the Nanbokucho period, a smith of the 'Ko-zori' group in Bizen Province. It features a well-forged jitetsu with prominent mokume and strong chikei, and a hamon of small gunome with nie, kinsuji, and sunagashi. The sword comes with an Edo period gold nashiji ito-maki tachi koshirae, noted for its excellent craftsmanship and preservation.
