Made around the Enpo era (1673-1681), it features a typical gunome-midare hamon with abundant ko-nie and bright nioiguchi. The blade is accompanied by a shirasaya with a sayagaki by Dr. Sato Kanzan and is certified as Tokubetsu Hozon by the NBTHK.
