Description

This antique Japanese wakizashi is signed by Mutsu no Kami Kaneshige, active during the early Edo period (1661-1673) in Settsu province (modern-day Osaka). Kaneshige was the adopted son and apprentice of the first-gen Mutsu no Kami Kaneyasu, known for his Osaka Shinto blades. The sword comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, confirming its authenticity and high artistic value.
