Description

This is a Daisho set consisting of a Katana and a Wakizashi. The Katana is signed by Bishu Mihara Jyu Masachika, active in the late Muromachi period, and the Wakizashi is attributed to Matsu-Mihara. Both blades exhibit characteristics of the Yamato DEN tradition with beautiful Jigane and Suguha tempering lines. The set comes with matching Handachi Koshirae and NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon for the Katana and Hozon for the Wakizashi.
