This is a Gendaito katana made by Muneyoshi, the son of the Mukansa swordsmith Munetoshi. The blade features a beautiful torii-zori with a normal width and thickness, and a chu-kissaki. The jigane is itame-hada with ji-nie and chikei, while the hamon is saka-choji with a bright nioi-guchi, kinsuji, gin-sen, and active ashi. The sword is 2 shaku 5 sun long, lightweight, well-balanced, and comes with a complete koshirae including a silver habaki, iron tsuba, silver fuchi-kashira, and a dry lacquer black ishime saya.
