This is an armor-piercing tanto (yoroi doshi) signed by Ikansai Kanetora and dated October 1855. It features an unokubi zukuri shape with ko itame hada and a notare midare hamon. The blade is flawless and comes mounted in a complete Higo koshirae, decorated with Hosokawa mon in gold and silver.
