This is an unsigned iron sixty-two plate kabuto (helmet) from the Edo period. It weighs approximately 2800g before packaging. The fukikaeshi (turn-backs) feature an Aoi mon (hollyhock crest), and the hachi (bowl) itself is in sound and good condition. Modern fasteners are used for the kuwagata-dai (horn base) and maedate (forecrest) insertion points.
