This is a Katana by Kasyu Ietada, a master of the Dharani school in Kaga province during the early Edo period (circa 1655). The blade features a normal width and thickness with a shallow curve and a medium kissaki. The jihada is a tightly packed itame with ji-nie, and the hamon is a bright gunome and notare mixed with togari-ba, showing fine kinsuji, ashi, and yo within the ha. The tang is well-patinated with a single character '賀' remaining, and the blade is accompanied by an NBTHK Hozon Token certificate.
