This is a modern katana by Shinbo Yoshiharu, a noted master swordsmith of Niigata known as a leading figure among the Miyairi school. The blade emulates Sōshū Sadamune, featuring well-compacted jihada and a gunome-midare hamon. The sword is in generally good condition with no major flaws and comes with a shirasaya.
