This is a yajiri (arrowhead) made by Kanbayashi Tsunehira, a Mukansa swordsmith from the Miyairi school, in Heisei 4 (1992). The smith's real name is Yuji Kanbayashi, born in 1949, and he is known for his numerous awards. The yajiri features openwork carvings of a Sanskrit character on the front and a banner with a Sanskrit character on the back, but it does not have a tempered blade.
