Description

This is a katana signed by Sesshu ju Fujiwara no Sukehiro, a Saijo O Wazamono smith from Settsu province during the Sho'o era (1652-1654, Edo period). The blade has a length of 73.5cm and comes with a silver ground double habaki and shirasaya. It has calligraphy on the shirasaya by Dr. Sato Kanzan and Master Tanobe Tanzan and is designated as a Tokubetsu-Hozon sword.
