Description

This is a boldly crafted tanto resembling a Yoroi-doshi, in excellent condition with a sharpened blade free of flaws. The jigane shows a beautiful itame grain mixed with mokume, and the hamon is a graceful, flowing nioideki. The nakago is signed "Kunishige Saku," and the piece is presumed to be from the Shinshinto period.
