This katana was signed by Kanetsuji (兼辻) during the late Muromachi period in Mino province. He was a smith of the Mino-Den school, known for practical and innovative designs. The blade features a Hataboko engraving and comes with a Tachi Koshirae, including Fuchi-Kashira and Menuki with lightning bolt motifs, and a Tsuba with a Karakusa pattern.
