Description

This is an antique katana forged by swordsmith Kagehira in the 1620s during the early Edo period. The blade features a great Gunome wavy tempered line pattern and comes with a Hozon paper from the NBTHK. It is mounted in a stunning ornate koshirae including an iron Tsuba hand guard and a pair of golden hilt ornaments.
