This is a round iron tsuba from the Edo period, made by Eiyu of the Satsuma school. It measures 8.23cm in height, 7.75cm in width, and 0.56cm in thickness. Satsuma tsuba often feature small holes at the top and bottom, which were used to attach the tsuba to the saya with a thin cord.
