This katana is signed by Sukesada from Bizen province, dated Tensho 9 (1581). It is a robustly constructed blade from the peak of the Sengoku period, featuring a finely forged ko-itame hada with ji-nie and a clear utsuri. The hamon is a tight nioiguchi wide suguha mixed with shallow notare, and the boshi returns with a pointed tip.
