Mishina Hisamichi久道
This is a katana by the first generation Ouminokami Kyudo, a renowned smith from the Sanpin school and one of the five great smiths of Kyoto. Made in the mid-Edo period in Yamashiro Province, this long and robust blade features a wide body, thick kasane, and a very wide hamon in notare style with large gunome, rich in nie, kinsuji, and sunagashi. It is certified as Tokubetsu Hozon by the NBTHK and comes with koshirae.
