This is a Koto period katana by Kunishige from Bichu province, dated Tensho 14 (1583). It features a unokubi-zukuri shape, a vibrant notare-midare hamon with ko-gunome, and a fine ko-itame hada with chikei. The blade is accompanied by a red lacquer plum blossom pattern Higo koshirae and is designated as Tokubetsu Hozon Token by the NBTHK.
