Description

This is an unsigned Mito school tsuba from the Edo period, featuring a design inspired by the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It has a mokko shape with an iron hammered ground, and is decorated with sukidashi takabori, inlay, and colored enamel. The tsuba measures 8.34cm in height, 7.7cm in width, and 0.52cm in thickness, and comes with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu certification.
