Description

This is a wakizashi koshirae (mounting) from the Edo period, featuring a uniquely lacquered saya. It includes a sayagata-patterned fuchi-kashira, an iron mokko-shaped tsuba, and copper menuki with plant motifs. The koshirae is in good condition and measures 80.5cm in overall length.
