Description

This antique Japanese wakizashi is signed by Banshu Tagarayama Fujiwara Ujishige from the 7th year of the Tenmei era (1787), placing it in the late Edo period. The blade comes with an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, indicating its authenticity and high quality. It features a unique red lacquered carved scabbard (Ebi Saya maki Koshirae) and a Tsuba depicting a landscape with a waning moon.
