This antique Japanese Wakizashi is signed by Kanemori, a swordsmith active during the early-mid Edo period (Shintō era) in Kawachi Province (present-day Osaka Prefecture). It is accompanied by an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, confirming its authenticity and high artistic value. The blade features a beautiful koshirae with various auspicious motifs, including a hawk on the Fuchi-Kashira, a Tōjin-zu Menuki, a horse Kozuka, and a monkey with a peach on the Saya's Kojiri.
