Description

This is an unsigned tsuba featuring peony openwork, attributed to Nagasaki in Hizen Province during the Edo period. It is made of brass with carved openwork and mud cloisonné inlay, with a sukashi rim. The tsuba is certified as Hozon Tosogu by the NBTHK.
