Gassan Yoshiaki吉明
This katana was made by Kusano Yoshiaki in Settsu province. Yoshiaki was from Inaba province and studied under Gassan Sadakichi in Osaka. He was inspired by Sadakichi's son, Unryushi Sadakazu, and produced excellent works from Ansei to early Meiji, later becoming an Imperial Art Technician.
