This is an early Edo period Wakizashi signed by the third-generation Etchu no Kami Fujiwara Masatoshi, a member of the prestigious Mishina school from Yamashiro province. The blade is accompanied by an NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Certificate, confirming its authenticity and high quality. It features a chrysanthemum emblem, a symbol of imperial permission, and comes with a complete koshirae including a tsuba with a wild goose motif and a kozuka with a grape theme.
