A pair of copper menuki featuring a bat design by Nomura Masahide. Nomura Masahide was a disciple of the Goto family and the sixth generation of the Nomura family, Masatsugu. He was a skilled craftsman who specialized in the elaborate Nomura-style construction methods and lived in Edo during the Kansei and Kyowa eras.
