This is a mitokoromono (set of three sword fittings) featuring a flower cart design, made by Tamagawa Yoshihisa. The kozuka and kogai are signed 'Suifu-ju Tamagawa Yoshihisa (kaō)' and are made of shakudo nanako with high-relief carving and colored enamels. The menuki are unsigned but attributed to Tamagawa Yoshihisa, made of shakudo with solid carving and colored enamels. Tamagawa Yoshihisa was the second generation, born in Mito in 1779, and was a skilled craftsman.
