This katana is signed by Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro, a renowned smith from the Hizen school during the Edo period. He was the son of the first-generation Tadayoshi and a student of Umetada Myoju, known as the founder of Shinto. The blade comes with a shirasaya and a blue shell lacquer hantachi koshirae, featuring a tsuba with a paulownia crest and chrysanthemum openwork, dragon-motif kojiri, phoenix-motif tachi fittings, and a sennin-motif kojiri.
