Description

This is a koshirae (mounting) featuring a red lacquer finish and the Maru-ni-Juji family crest, originating from Satsuma. It measures 49.5cm in overall length and is from the modern Heisei era. The koshirae includes a wooden tsunagi (blade substitute) and shitodome.
