Description

This antique Katana, signed by Omi No Kami Hisamichi, is from the early Edo period (Kanbun-Enpo era: 1661-1681) and comes with an NBTHK Hozon Certificate. Hisamichi was a prominent swordsmith from Yamashiro province, known for his excellent forging techniques and the rare privilege of inscribing a chrysanthemum emblem on his blades. The sword features intricate koshirae with dragon motifs and is in excellent condition.
