Description

This antique Japanese Katana, forged by Nobuyoshi in 1863 during the late Edo period (Shin-Shinto era), comes with an NBTHK Hozon Certificate. It features a strong appearance, reflecting the tumultuous Bakumatsu period when swords were crucial for public safety. The blade has a cutting edge length of 71.7 cm and is accompanied by a Koshirae mounting with a Kabura-ya (whistling arrow) motif on the Menuki, and a Yotsu-Mokkou-shaped Tsuba with a cloud pattern.
