This katana by smith Hidetoshi, active in the early Showa period, features a newly polished blade with a sharp cutting edge and beautiful hamon. It comes with a newly made koshirae, making it suitable for appreciation, iaido, or tameshigiri. Hidetoshi was a highly regarded smith, designated as 'Ryokō no Jōi' (upper rank of good smiths) in the 'Seidai Tōshō Iretsu Ichiran' of 1942.
