Description

This tanto, signed Sukesada, is believed to be a commemorative blade for the November 1910 Army Grand Maneuvers. It features a hira-zukuri uchizori form with a mokume hada resembling Yakumo-hada and a nioi-based gunome hamon. The blade comes with a shirasaya and a wooden habaki, and is a historical artifact from the Meiji period.
