Description

This is a tanto made by Chigusa Arikoto in the Shin-Shinto period. The blade features a hirazukuri shape with a slight sori. The hamon is a gunome with nie, sunagashi, and yubashiri. The blade is accompanied by a silver habaki, shirasaya, shirasaya bag, registration paper, and Hozon certificate.
