This is an early work katana by Kajiyama Yasunori, one of the leading smiths at the Yasukuni Shrine forge, dated 1934. The blade measures 27 inches (68.58 cm) and features a straight temper line with large choji under the suguha hamon. It comes with Type 94/98 Shin-gunto mounts (with a removed second hanger) and a shirasaya, and has been professionally polished in Japan.
