Description

This is a Unokubi-style tanto in excellent condition. The blade features a well-forged itame-hada pattern and a fine notare hamon. The nakago is signed "Ichinohira," a swordsmith who flourished in Satsuma Province during the Shinto period. The tanto comes with a shirasaya and koshirae.
